Users with multiple profiles in one account (for example, a married couple that has one account that contains the genotype information for both people) must be careful about which profiles they select when sharing genomes with other users. Be aware of the following information:
-
You will be asked to select which profile(s) you would like to share when you send sharing invitations and when you receive sharing invitations.
-
You will be unable to send multiple sharing invitations to a single email address. If you know that a recipient has more than one profile, and you want to make sure your invitation is accepted for the profile you are interested in, it is a good idea to put this information in the message that accompanies your invitation. The message box contains a pre-written message, but you can edit this to your liking.
-
If you have already initiated sharing with one profile in an account and wish to share with additional profiles, you must cancel sharing and then re-extend an invitation to include the other profiles you wish to include.
